Thanks to the work of the fire crew we were able to save Michele’s grandparent’s We just would like you to know that we are doing okay. We are making our inventories and working with our insurance agent. We made a video of the house right after the fire that also tells some of the story of the many events this lovely rural property hosted. Thank-you again for all your prayers and thoughts. Thanks to the work of the fire crew we were able to save Michele’s grandparent’s dishes and some of the pictures. Everything else is a total loss. It is hard to lose a place like this with so many, many memories for so many and varied people that visited over the years. We do not at this time know what future plans we have for the property. It is just too early.

Thank-you for all your well wishes at the loss of our family hobby farmhouse on Tuesday morning, March 22, 2011. We are so VERY fortunate that no one was home. The fire was very hot and the house filled quickly with smoke. We are grateful to the Blue Earth County Sheriff’s Office and the Saint Clair volunteer fireman and women from three units that came to our farm to put out the fire out.

How sad to see what the fire did to your house. From the other side of this planet I wish you all the best in rebuilding and trying to get over this nightmare.

Thank God no one was home. I am so sorry for the loss. This makes it so real. Thank you for sharing your heart ache. I can't imagine Michele. Please if there is anything you need, just holler, I'll do my best to help. Take care and God Bless!!
