  • aw man i have a 1996 4.0L jeep cherokee and it sounds awsome without the muffler, sadly i put new exhaust on it and its 2 quiet!!! that sounds awsome. i think i will take off my new one and put one of those on it. except im thinking about a turbo muffler

  • Thanks for compliment. The thrush welded is a chamber design muffler were a regulat turbo used fiber packing that absorbs more sound. If u want more sound, go with the welded. I bet you would be happy with it and it is usually only 40 bucks or so. I have a friend that has a cherokee that has the 4.0 with the welded muffler and he is very happy with it. Good luck....and take care.

  • Thrush all the way!!! The flowmasters actually sound tinny to me on some vehicles or they sound hollow. The thrush welded muffler I have gives no cabin drone at all on my jeep and I hear that complaint from several of flowmaster users.
