Prism 4D Superlight Stunt Kite Review

Just a quick review of the all new Prism 4D superlight stunt kite. I am by no means a pro, so it will take a while for me to take full advantage of what this kite has to offer and appreciate all of its qualities, but it has given me a great first impression with my limited knowledge of stunt kites.

This kite and the extra lineset were purchased at chicokites.com. It came with the case and a 50ft lineset from Prism. If you are going to spend the money on a kite like this, go ahead and spend the extra $9 and get the 20ft lineset as well. They will come in handy for indoor and zero wind flying. I bought this kite after reading through the forums at Chico aka GWTWforums.com. Steve had my 4D shipped to me the same day he received them, shipped on Thursday via USPS and received in Monday. It was just released by Prism not long ago and has gotten very good reviews and flight reports. I was looking for a zero/no wind kite to cure the doldrums of inland flying in Ky and this kite will fit the bill perfectly.

Shame , a nice review.

But it is a zero wind!

Fly it outside in more than a heavy puff and it will snap.

It is made for the job.

Thanks for the review - BUT from experience the leading edge ferrules break real easy - the T piece is also prone to breakage within the plastic - I hope this helps anyone looking to purchase the 4D

Nice review...Ahh 9:05,wanted too drop the F Bomb? hehe...Im kinda new got my first kite on order now hopefully well have it at weeks end.Im getting the Nexus so well see how that goes,may get this one as my second ...for those light days...;0)
