Clip starts with a typically hilarious cold open followed by a great skit in which Carl Reiner spoofs European commercials. Innocently done ethnic humor such as this seems to have disappeared thanks to the P.C. parade. Carl Reiner's timing is unbelievable and one wonders if certain jokes that appear to be ad-libbed may have been completely scripted.

Yea Carl Reiner Sid Caesar and Howard Morris were all masters of the ethnic double talk. There is a funny Show Of Shows where Sid and Howard do a Prussion General
and his dresser bit. The double talk is hilarious. It's too bad all those shows are gone forever. The show ran for YEARS and none of it recorded. There only exists the hand full of bits.

Carl Reiner had a LOT of experience as a writer/performer was able to think on his feet (and ad-lib when he had to) when working with Sid Caesar on "YOUR SHOW OF SHOWS" and "CAESAR'S HOUR" in the '50s. This 1967 excerpt is no exception...
