With the decade coming to a close I thought it would be relevant to consider what were the best movies it had to offer. And while I tend to enjoy "higher quality" movies, I must admit this is a list of the movies I most ENJOYED, rather than movies I think were critically BEST... so bare that in mind...

  • @MissHyperEnergetic... it was a demo i had of a stroke 9 song called in the end... i don't know if it was ever released.

  • Lord of the Rings wasn't on the list. That goes against everything I stand for.

  • @Duffylaxination3... i'm inclined to agree, i just think there probably were enough people supporting LOTRs that i didn't need to. and although there is no subplanting tolkien from the top rank of fantasy writers, i've always tended away from high fantasy to other subgenres like "weird fiction" (see: china mieville) or "steampunk" (see: cherie priest). its just a matter of taste.
