@MoaiQ We have alternatives for electricity like solar, geothermal etc., but oil is used in other products like fertilizer, and we need fertilizer almost as much as we need electricity if not more, because without fertilizer we cant grow things as effectively and anarchy will occur over food shortages. I agree with you though with the prices, however we don't have a choice unless we find another way to grow food...
