Read to Your Children - Vanessa Carreira

Vanessa Carreira was crowned Miss South Africa in 2001, followed by a second placing in the Miss Universe pageant of 2002. Vanessa has not looked back since, with some highlights including the role of a talk show host on TV's 'Motswako- the mix ' which she co-hosted with Carol Bauer.
Vanessa also co-founded Siren Entertainment with business partner and friend Melony Sabiti, going from strength to strength working on a number of functions including Cape Town fashion week, BMW X3 launch, assisting in the coordination of the K-TV kids choice awards, the launch of Uber fashionable venue Taboo and extensive work with Old Mutual. Vanessa still finds the time during her demanding schedule to fulfil her role as a former ambassador by giving motivational talks and making various appearances as a former Miss South Africa. She is also the co-owner of the popular Taboo nightclub in Sandton, with her husband Chris Christodoulous.
