The Interactorium : 3D Virtual Cell Visualization

The Interactorium is a tool built using the Skyrails visualization system to create a rich, comprehensive visualization of the protein onteractome of a yeast (Saccharomyces Cerevisiae) cell. This tool allows visualization of the whole interactome along with their localisation and complexes, without having to constraint to particular sections. In total, 2945 proteins are visualized all at once, and this translates to 3811 nodes (as a protein can exist in multiple localizations).

In layman's terms, this tool shows the interaction between the molecular machines that makes up yeast cells.
