This is why we have people that study engineering....
If you are going to be going on long trips it is a MUCH better solution to simply put a small generator driven by your tire to charge the battery.
Exceptions: Short trips - trips up hill - trips in the summer in the desert.

That truck was definitely NOT within the legal speed limit LOL.

Did you make the solar wagon? I'd love to see the inside! Do you have a website?

You should have used that thing to power a in hub motor for your bicycle. Thats what I thought you were doing until I read this comment.

hm for some reason my previous comment wasn't posted. anyway, i just want to say that's an awesome little wagon. i like the idea of touring w/o the worries of finding a place to charge the batteries. did you build this wagon yourself? if so, would you share the plan with me? thank you!

Charge batteries for all electronics and communication devices (ipods, phones, GPS, etc.). I thought this was too big and bulky, which it was, so they ditched it in San Antonio. Now they have a smaller trailer for tools and such. It was pretty cool though. It would charge all our electronics in an evening then charge all day the next day while on the road. With Solar wagon we were capable of being completely off the grid. We could camp anywhere and still have our batteries.
