*Backstage*
Samus: When this is over I'm taking a vacation. RG! are you and your "friends" ready yet?
RG: almost! we start in two minutes!
Gardevoir: This violin is tricky to hold, master.
Blaziken: what do you humans call this thing again?
RG: *sigh* an electric guitar.
Blaziken: Oh yeah that's right.
Togetic: Dad, we have the first theme down but who's doing the second and third themes?
RG: I'll take the guitar on the second. And I have replacements for you guys on the third theme. That way no one gets tired afterwards.
Gardevoir: who might they be?
RG: a lovely bartender that served me green tea the other night and a guy with an oversized butcher knife.
Backstage crew: ?!
RG: Ok lights, camera, action!
*To youtube audience* in other words here's the real "about the video" info.
Now you people know what kind of twisted corrupted mind I have. If I didn't make that obvious enough with all the videos I've made so far.
Sorry as you can see that dialog was not going to last less than two seconds. So I stuck it here instead of the beginning of the movie.
I should not be calling this my last project anymore. I've made some more metroid-related vids. This one is all of the crazy fights brought to you by yours truly into one rock n roll party jamboree. Guitar heroes tune your guitars! (I don't have one of them music scales just play along. Plus these were the fights from the low quality vids.)
What you will hear are four rock n roll themes from four other games out there. I'll list their info below
1st theme: Gym Leader Battle Theme from Pokemon Stadium 1.
2nd theme: I know no one will get this one. This is "strider hiryu's theme" from a fighting game called Marvel Vs. Capcom: clash of super heroes. It's long dead and has been replaced by the ever popular Marvel Vs. Capcom 2.
3rd theme plus version update info:
"Still more fighting" the boss battle theme from Final Fantasy 7 and loved by many a final fantasy player. If you are not a final fantasy player then prepare for a treat! I did a little music editing so that I could insert it. It wasn't in the previous version of this video.
4th theme:
"Force your way" from Final fantasy 8. In this version it's nothing more than a filler. I had to fill in the time that "still more fighting" couldn't fill. So you won't hear the entire first loop. But it's not that bad.
Fanfare: The item acquisition fanfare of Metroid Prime. Duh...The best way to end it. I could've goofed around and stuck a final fantasy fanfare but I wanted to give a farewell to samus in a respectable manner. That's kinda why I turned this into a rock n roll celebration and not a "mad dance". lmao...mad dance? I gotta get Final fantasy 6 off of my brain somehow...
Final Words:
This is not the last you'll hear of the music from these games especially the game series for the first theme. I have many many many more marvelous pieces. But I think this is the best of rock n roll I can give. 95% of my video game music library puts it's emphasis on violins and strings. But what the heck, it's what I love. I love orchestras. The occasional rock n roll concert isn't so bad either.
Izzat you playin' the game, RG?

Pokémon music in Metroid: Zero Mission? Odd, but interesting. Ridley, I choose you!
LareBearProductions 3 years ago
I chose it because of it's use of the rock and roll style of music. I did not intend to use it to symbolize pokemon in any way though.

Hey isn't this the Pokemon Stadium Variation of the Music? Its very Kick ass.

You are absolutely correct! It was such a great battle theme "from the old days" That's why I put it here.
