Hank Locklin sings 'Please Help Me, I'm Falling' at the Pet Milk Grand Ole Opry in 1962. This song was a big country hit for Hank reaching #1 on Billboards Country chart and #8 on Billboards Hot 100. The lyric was written by Don Robertson and Hal Blair.

Lyric:
Please help me I'm falling in love with you
Close the door to temptation don't let me walk through
Turn away from me darling I'm begging you to
Please help me I'm falling in love with you

[ piano ]

I belong to another whose arms have grown cold
But I promised forever to have and to hold
I can never be free dear but when I'm with you
I know that I'm losing the will to be true

Please help me I'm falling and that would be sin
Close the door to temptation don't let me walk in
For I mustn't want you but darling I do
Please help me I'm falling in love with you

With T Tommy Cutrer as host, this is a television production from the very early 1960s (possibly 1960, when this song came out) and not the Grand Ole Opry. It was recorded in a studio - and looks like the early studio setting for the Wilburn Brothers Show. It also could be the Porter Wagoner Show (both of these were recorded at WSM TV studios, I do believe). The man on the piano is Don Robertson. He always did a good job on the Floyd Cramer style of piano. Floyd played on the original recording.

Its the Pet Milk Grand Ole Opry. Two Skeeter Davis video's that I've uploaded, are recorded at the same place.

Very rare to see a spinet piano in a Live music video. That thing is only 3 feet tall! 0_0

Well, today's young are tomorrow's old. So its always better for them to get used and be familiar with these great tunes so at one point they would be able to pass their Old age with sweet memories that they were Once Young too.
