I do not see your point of view at all. In fact, Id say that it is, to say the least, distorted.
The high school is at risk for loosing their accredidation because of the buildings serious state of disrepair, and the computer and science labs being so out of date. We dont even have a library at the elementary school. Have you taken a good look at the police log lately?
As for people drinking and gambling, destroying families, etc., that is on the indivivual who chooses to participate.

If you spent one day in the high school then you would be begging for money to repair the roof, hire more teachers and better school supplies. we have trash bags taped to the ceiling to cath all the water that leaks thru our roof. idiot

All of these people are fine, upstanding Middleborites who I interviewed over a period of seventeen minutes.
They have each studied the issues exhaustively by listening to other people's opinions and have independently decided that a Middleboro Casino means certain doom for all of us.
People like you, whining about a few leaky roofs, are more dangerous than criminals. A little water on their heads isn't going to stop kids from learning.
