@hoagy918 - You, I and no one on this earth "deserves" to be "punished." For what? For existing? For connecting to god, source, love, all there is? For what? For being alive? Why do YOU feel you need to be "punished?" Shame on those who taught you such lies and hatefulness. We are in a time of great change and it is time to connect with WHO YOU ARE. You ARE part of god, source, love, all there is. You are NOT "righteous." You are alive and that is enough.

@catcorner59 The good news, the Gospel of Jesus Christ has the power to take you straight to heaven. This is the Gospel - Jesus Christ died on the cross for all your wrongdoings, He was buried, and resurrected 3 days later. All those who trust in His atonement are born again and have their names written in the Lamb's Book of Life. Those who consistently reject Jesus Christ and His Gospel, will by their choice, spend eternity separated from God and heaven. Truth demand a decision.

@hoagy918 Truth IS relative, for the "truth" which brings YOU closer to Source (aka God) is obviously different from "truth" that brings me closer to Source. Jesus came to bring us "the good news about how to have peace" and he KNEW that what is truth for one may not be another, hence the verse you quoted. He told the Pharisees (Luke 17:21) that "the kingdom of God is within you", meaning in your heart and what resonates with you there and brings YOU closer, personally.

@Leighmo2 I'm sorry you feel that way. I don't expect you do believe me; however, you should, as a skeptic, investigate what the New Testament of the Bible says about who Jesus Christ is. Where you spend eternity is at stake. God bless you and make you come to the revelation of the truth.
Isn't it nice that we all get to believe what we choose to believe, and we can change those beliefs as we choose. Freedom is a wonderful thing. I choose to believe in a loving God not a condemning god.
