Yeah, there are rumors about a Broadway Revival. If they're true then that's great! I just hope they'll maintain the darker tone of the Berlin production and won't water it back down to the somewhat awkward sweetness of the film just because that's what the American audiences (supposedly) want. I prefer the more dramatic, more opera-like feel of the German stage adaptation. It's perfect.

Chris Murray is a kickass Clopin.

Every second of this is a thrill to watch.

Their Clopin is Haut

@v1de0gamr I assumed that that was what they were meant to be dancing like. It is the Feast of Fools, after all.

@broadwaymadame It's been cut off just before it. You can hear at the very end he's starting to say her name

@lagwagoning You'd think, but a.) Disney doesn't like to compete, and since Notre Dame de Paris was going on in France at the time and making tons of money, well, you know...
b.) Victor Hugo's descendents had gripes with the Disney animated film.
c.) The animated film did most well in Germany.
It would be awesome if this came to English-speaking countries!

Ah, dude, Esmeralda's dance is the best part of the song! :D I really want to see how they made a human being do that dance, it involves pretty badass moves :D

Love the costumes, especially Clopin's.

They dance like marionettes. I hope the choreography improves when this gets moved to Broadway.

In my opinion both versions are good ^^
Hmph. You'd think if they were to put this production into any foreign language at all it would've been French, I know ... I know ... I've got some crazy new ideas. I would greatly love this in England (and English). I suppose the Italians have got dibbsies on the next adaption though =/

When you perform a show in Germany they will most likely NOT perform it in French... surprise
