  • Glad you liked the video. I wish the Japanese would stop their whaling, especially when they deny its for commercial purposes. I would never visit Japan or buy from them. I heard they had killed one of the Humpback Whales I swam with in Tonga last year during their migration. It makes me weep. Pen

  • Awesome movie! Really spectectular!

Took a different route to Alaska this year but will definately keep the Icy Strait and this whale watching tour in mind.

    Thanks for posting!

  • Glad you liked it, it was a brilliant trip, next year I plan to swim with whales in Tonga!!

  • My wife and I are cruising Alaska in June of 09' and going whale watching is at the top of our list your video is awesome to say the least what a fantastic experience!

  • Thanks have a great trip. We found Cruise Critic very helpful and they put us on to this whale watching trip rather than book through the ship.

  • Nice Video, In the early 80's I was on the British Ice Patrol ship HMS Endurance in Antarctica where the whale population is in decline thanks to Japaniese Whaling done in the name of research . The Flagship owner of the Japanese whaling fleet has a whale meat restaurant in Tokyo. I dont buy anything now if its from Japan.

  • Well, that sounds like a real adventure! I would be a little bit hesitant to swim with them after reading "The Swarm", although it is just a novel! "wink"

However, enjoy! Whales are amazing creatures! :)

  • Hi tony sorr I didnt reply before but didnt know you had posted. I used music by Enya on a couple of my videos although YouTube have got a bit funny about using original music. Glad you liked the vid and enjoy Alaska, I would love to do this trip again. bw Pen
