CJ meets his "favorite actor" LOL

My son and I went out for Sunday brunch at Chicago's Chicken and Waffles (in Chicago) and ran into Christian Payton who played Paul williams on The Temptations movie. Watch CJ's face!!! When the actor was done talking, CJ had an important question for me. LOL!!! Enjoy!!! (Sorry about the sound, I couldn't download it.)

It has been brought to my attention that this video seemed to be making a mockary of Christian Payton. First let me say, I interupted Mr. Payton while he was on is way out of the resturant and he was so kind to take out the time to speak to my son. My son loves the movie and the music of the Temptaions and I knew that it would mean a lot to him if he would meet "Paul". To my embarrassment my son seemed not to recognize him. Christian was more than generous with his time and kind to my son.

Christian is a sweet guy and a gentleman. We didn't have much of a conversation though, it consisted mostly of me telling him how much my son loved him. Christian was gracious both times we met him, and was more than kind to my son... he sang a bit of a Temptation's song for him!

He should get more roles. He was terrific as Paul. And he has a voice for sure. He was my favorite in the movie.

Your son is adorable and you are a very classy person. Christian is a talented person and I hope he has opportunites to showcase his acting and signing talents. His rendition of A Love I can See rivals the original.. And he goes very easy on the eyes.

Christian is a talented actor and singer. Would love to know if he has recorded any songs. I would purchase it!!! Thanks for sharing the video. It is nice. You sound like a very classy person, your son is adorable and Christian continues to be a fine gentleman. Hope he gets opportunities to showcase his talent. And hope he keeps in contact with Terron Brooks who sounds like another well grounded young man.
