An ingrown toenail occurs when the edge of the nail grows down and into the skin of the toe. There may be pain, redness, and swelling around the nail. *I do not own the rights to these songs*
In this case, A doctor may perform the procedure shown in the video above; to remove part of the nail that is causing the problem.

Got mine done yesterday and it was a little uncomfortable, now I hope it never grows out again

@boald15 oh k thats good to know lol. it doesnt sound painful because they numb it. but with this its on my left toe on the left side *big toe* but i dnt think its ingrown. oneday i was picking at my nail went to pull it off the top bit when it grows too much then i got a facebook notification and the part i was gunna rip of went into my skin or atleast i think it did but stilll i think i need to get itdone.

@badjoshua1234 I had an ingrown toenail on and off for months. Mine was ingrown on both sides and all infected and bleeding puss everyday. If it hurts bad like mine, GET IT DONE. It feels so much better afterwords. All they do is numb it and take out the part of the nail that is cutting you.

OMFG im shit scared to get this done now. i dont wanna get it done i might just leave it in but it hurts alot. please reply to this. if i get it done does it hurt alot during it and does it hurt like where the nail gets pushed in after its removed. like now when i hit it a tiny bit it hurts alot. so after it will it be fine. i just want it out ive had it for about 4 months and omg i just want no pain. also whys it always on a big toe? never a small one?

@MUSiiCFANN i had mine done today i was born with ingrown toe nails i have trypanophobia all that hurts is the shots it feels like a bee sting and the medicine takes effect fight away and you dont feel a thing
