Super Mario Bros Walkthrough 6-1

In the Super Mario Bros. World 6 walkthrough, as well as other levels, you'll find spring-like contraptions. Jump on them to jump to heights greater than you could normally reach by simply hitting the A button.

World 6-1
---------------------------------------------------------------------

1. Head right, avoiding the Lakitu and the Spinys he drops.

2. Hit the left block on the first set of normal blocks you come across to get a Power-Up.

3. Jump across the gaps, ascend the steps and repeat until you reach the flagpole. Jump on the flagpole to complete the level.

World 6-2
---------------------------------------------------------------------

1. Go down the first pipe for a secret coin area. Hold "Right" on the D-pad to reach the coin area.

2. Re emerge and head right. Hit the blocks between the next two pipes to get a Power-Up.

3. Continue right to find two long rows of blocks separated by a gap. Hit the rightmost block to create a vine. Climb up the fine to find a secret coin area above the clouds. Continue right and collect the coins.

4. Hop down from the clouds and continue right, past the pipes. Ascend the steps and jump onto the flagpole to complete the level.

World 6-3

1. Jump from platform to platform. Use the spring to reach higher levels.

2. Hit the first "?" block to get a Power-Up.

3. Use the pair of scale platforms to get across the large gap.

4. Dodge the Bullet Bills and use the spring to reach the higher platforms.

5. Jump from floating platform to floating platform and jump on the flagpole to complete the level.

World 6-4
---------------------------------------------------------------------

1. Jump across the caps and brave the Podoboos and Firebars. Hit the "?" block if you need a Power-Up.

2. Head down the corridor and dodge the Firebars and the flames until you reach Bowser.

3. Beat Bowser with a fireball or by hitting the switch behind him.

The backgrounds in the "night-time" levels of the "all-stars" version of Super Mario Bros always make me feel good.
