  • Hello sir, could you tell me why you've bought a 2133MHz as the ram bus of that cpu (i7-2600k) supports a maximum transport of 1333MHz? you can see it here at Memory Types ark.intel[DOT]com/products/52214/ Also could you tell me what are your load temps with prime95 small ffts? and at what voltage are you using for the 4.7GHz? Thanks in advance.

  • @Phr33d0m The processor comes with a built-in memory controller for DDR3-1333. Anything over and above that will be achieved through overclocking. Basically what 1600+ modules are, are modules tested at higher frequencies (and possibly lower timings). The SPD is still 1333, but with the allowance for 1600+ (depending on the DIMMs in question) my RAM is however running @ its rated speed of 2133MHz, CPU voltage is at 1.36V and when i tested in prime it averaged around 60C, hope that helps

  • @necrocoprophilia what do you mean come on... the reason i bought a 1000w PSU it is because i have a lot of gear in there and for future proofing, also there is a point to water cooling when it comes to me because i like low temps, if its not for you thats fine, but i dont understand why you would click on a vid that has water cooling in the tittle if you didnt see the point in it...

  • Next you should swap out those blue fans for red, and then get white and red 12 inch cathodes, and if you can replace the side panels at all, switch the top above the CPU to acryllic

  • what do you think of Iceq 6950 crossfire config?

  • wow thats a lot of stuff in such a little case I am inpressed.
