Dick Cheney asks for the declassification of documents that he feels would substantiate the use of torture as a legitimate form of interrogation. What a sick bastard.

  • The people in Bush's administration involved in interrogating terrorist should get medals not trials. I fear for the next terror attack because of the weak Obama administration. You stupid fools that decry waterboarding, search the internet for the videos of these terrorist beheading our people. Watch what real torture is. Listen to the screams before their heads are hacked off. Get real you stupid morons.

  • You need to get real and understand that if we implement government sanctioned torture, you have to be prepared to accept where that road could lead to. What you are currently advocating could turn around and bite you in the ass. Because if we don't speak out against this now, you may be experiencing these same kind of techniques on the domestic front in 5 to 10 years because the precedent has already been set.

  • As far as the videos you mention. Yes they are horrifying and I wouldn't wish that on my worst enemies dog. But should we really leave open the possibility of lowering ourselves to those standards? Think about it before you answer.

  • George Orwell's '1984' should be mandatory reading in all US schools.

Perhaps America would then wake up to the insidious danger of facist totalitarianism imposed by ruthlessly cynical (invariably right-wing) political regimes.

  • There is interrogating, there is torture. Torture is NOT legal. Extreme rendition is illegal, evil. Would YOU like ppl trained to torture to live in YOUR neighborhood? What kind of person can torture someone as their job? Think about that. Someone decides to torture a person. That person may be innocent. We have due process via the Constitution. Torture is NOT allowed. Do you want us to revert to the the Inquisition, no Bill of Rights, because YOU live in fear? You feel good when they torture.

  • eric_the_fearful: "I fear for the next terror attack "

Cheney smiles. His work is done on you.

And BTW, thanks for the confession, Mr Sissy. Now we see that this is not about torturing prisoners for information as far as you're concerned. It's all about exacting revenge.

  • If there is one thing the Limbaugh wingnuts can't tollerate, it's to see the true facts of their failure displayed openly in a public forum.

    Republicans: beyond hypocrisy, beneath contempt.

  • I don't know why the hell this comment is marked as spam. I also don't know why I can't unmark it. But I've been noticing a lot of this lately. If anyone could shed some light on this please let me know.

  • Depending on how far you took that idea, we'd be low on Congressmen and out of Senators because they voted in favor of an unconstitutional invasion

which is fine, great, they knew what they were doing and they all deserve to be prosecuted... it's just that it isn't going to happen
