CA2112: That's like people who only drink their coffee black, and say that people who put cream and sugar in their coffee don't like the taste of coffee, but just like the taste of cream and sugar. Combining two flavors doesn't mean you have to like one, but not the other. It seems like bacon would impart flavor to the water chestnuts, which are quite bland in their natural state. Bacon rocks as a seasoning.

Hmm, maybe he does love the chestnuts. Maybe he loved the chestnuts so much he wanted to do something to make them better instead of eating the same old watery chestnuts. Kinda of like what doctrine is telling us to do with America all this time.
