@winchy32 As much as I love this guy, I can't see his style progressing anything. There are probably a very small fraction of people who can emulate his bizarre solo's. He is however, like a breath of fresh air with his individuality.

@RunnerNoe when I say clean, I mean with out noise(guitar strings must be static with no vibrations after tapping). Anchoring on the fretting hand(similar to how some people do this with their finger when sweeping to deafen the notes after being played) must be done as your doing this in order to get that clean sound.
The chords by themselves are not to difficult, but combined when being arpeggiated with the string dampening of your finger, and the limited space; it's on another level hard.

Fact 1 it's not clean, at least a little overdrived
Fact 2 You just have to know how to tap with left and right hand, then build up the speed.
I sincerely think it's something you might have to work, but in the end a patient guitarist can play that. But you need a 24 frets guitar!
-
Are you kidding it's insanely hard to play especially clean.
-
Amazing!

@RunnerNoe Not hard? It sounds like he used a clean sound when he recorded that tapping part. Also, according to someone who knows Bumblefoot, that part is actually double tracked. O_O

ron is god!

@stonerh And not so hard to play!
Watch the video "Bumblefoot promo day part 1" he explains how to do it.
I'ts not easy but not hard compared to Bumblefoot's Chopin Fantasie or Guitars Suck
-
@SweeetPicker People actually say that? That's sad.

as far as im concerned bumblefoot is the smartest guitarist in rock music
ah that solo is epic. not to take away from the rest of the song lol. the way guitars are played is gonna progress because of people exactly like Bumblefoot
