I received lots of emails...reminding me that lots of people are not using dmx yet. and some of them people need a little push to the world of dmx. They told me that some people at the store wont even explain what it does or how it does it. so here is my little entry to your questions. Hopefully this answers your questions and I wish I was clear on the concept of DMX. any question you may have contact me,email me or comment below. thank you. Truly yours.... Djmike.

  • @MrKorean30 you will need ONE controller and as many cables as lights you have. one dmx cable per unit and one from the first unit to the controller.

  • thanks for the vidd! who is better, a external dmx interface or a pc dmx controller

  • Does the disco have sound active. I don't think mydmx has it. Thanks

  • @pjverzalik the disco by mega-lite does have sound active...it doesnt have a microphone...it uses the one on the lap top running the program.

  • @jadejadejadejade4 pc might be best option

  • Thank you so much, I've been searching for a tutorial for hours on youtube and I finally understand it now thanks to this video! 1000% subscribed.

  • @patcism yes they can be daisy chained....i showed it on the video.

  • @macuser7080 that yellow cart was used only to keep all the lights together and help me show the cable linking. when they go out to work they either go on a truss or a totem or a couple of other configurations.

  • When you have this all set up at a venue do all of the inteligent heads and led lights stay on that yellow cart?

  • The lights can be daisy chained right?
