im gettin ready to buy a bike and ive been thinkin big dog but ive heard the s and s motors dont last as long as hd and they vibrate at highway speeds is any of that true? is it worth my time to go test drive them? how do you like yours? thanks, nice lookin bike

It does vibrate but not that bad. I LOVE this bike!! I love it. It is definaetly worth test riding one. I can tell you this too; Big Dog stands behind their bikes. I didn't have an warrenty but had a small problem with the clucth basket. Big Dog covered it anyway. They are awesome. I LOVE THIS BIKE. Well worth the money in my opition. Thanks for the comments though

Nice bike! I just bought a 2006 K9 & I love it!

I've had Harley's in the past & they are a great bike but they don't hold a candle to the Big Dog. This K9 draws more attention by on-lookers than any bike I've ever had & the 117" S&S will run circles around any stock Harley.

I ended up getting a harley rocker, been doing a lot of work to get it the way i want it, my brother in law baught a pitbull, the pitbull will blow me away as far as speed goes but its quite a bit lighter and a hardtail, so the pitbull is kindof a bear to ride on long rides and in the wind where my rocker cruises fine in both.. i'm happy with my choice, it's not as fast as the bigdog but it has just as much attitude and its a much nicer ride,,, fuel injection ftw!!

i already know its a ridgeback just by seeing the fram being a hard tail, but what year is it.. my step dad has an '05 and has bored out engine, aftermarket carb, cam, pipes. but the S&S engine has been running strong!!
