It evokes a feeling of fidelity and faith in the heart, confidence and promise in the union of the wedded--the details are less important. The officiator has a deep background in history and lore. He should seek me on Facebook. I have missed him many years, wih the longing of the mother of the prodigal for her lost son.

It says it's a handfasting ceremony, which probly means the bride and groom are wiccans. And since there are "fairies dancing", I'm assuming that they specifically are druid pagans.

The Catholic Inquisition was alive and well during the Renaissance. There were no pagan practices.

@yocanbanconit Renaissance is just a reference to the fair it was conducted at, not that the ceremony is from that period. Some of this is historical and some is neo-pagan / fantasy.
