A New Morning (Drama Kid Productions presents)

A new morning for Kevin Simms the writer/Director/editor of DramakidProductions.. A new day and beginning for all of his short films to come and in the near future, someday, feature films..I had to play as the act, because no one was available, so setting up the shots, and maintaining focus all while film oneself was a little challenging but I succeeded. My equiptment i have are: Panasonic AG-DVC7 haven't bought any option parts for it yet, Rode Mic, Beyerdynamic DT-440 Earphones, and a Smith Vector propod 5 fluid head tripod.. many more equiptment on my wishlist up to $1500 so saving up now! movies starting this summer 2008!

Hey pretty cool vid. I'm really into amateur filmmaking and I've made a couple of films just for fun with a cheap sony camcorder. I noticed youre using a AG-DVC7 and I was really considering buying it. Would you reccomend it?

it's good for a beginner to learn the basic functions, you said your ametuer so i would recommend getting a HD 3 CCD camera, the lowest price one but not too cheap, something to begin with with hd quality, Standard definiton is old now... check out the HD1000, i was planning to get two of these for event videography and then get my HD film camera later, thinking the HMC150

just got the Cannon Vixia HF20, and it's does wanders!

AG DVC20 is a legit deal, but if you can save close to 2k, I'd go with the AG-HMC70.

Yeah now i was kinda thining of buying an AGDVC20... Same idea but a little pricier with better quality etc.

Definitely avoid the AG DVC7...I got it when it was the only cheap option 3 years ago, but now you have much more options at disposal. I'd either go with Dramakid's recommendation of the HD1000. However, the AG DVC20 has dropped significantly in price, and from what I hear, it's a good camera, (3CCD) so that's worth a look.

thanx, can't wait till i get a better camera, mann. it's a tie between the Canon XH A1, Jvc HD110, or going cheap and get the dvx100 with 35mm adaptor
