Nicki Minaj's name is continuing to make headlines.

This time the Young Money/Cash Money/Universal Motown recording artist is expressing her disappointment about skipping out on Rihannas Last Girl On Earth Tour and speaking out on her upcoming album

As previously reported, Onika decided to pull out of the tour featuring herself Rihanna and Ke$ha citing a need for more time to work on her debut project.
Following that she fired her manager, Waka Flocka Flame's mother Debrah Antney reportedly to work with Troy Carter who manages Lady Gaga and formerly worked with Eve.
Now she's released an official statement to her fans speaking on her decision to not hit the road.
According to Nicki, she's upset that she'll have to miss out on the killer lineup but hopes to visit the option again in the future.
When I first heard about the possibility of touring with Rihanna, I was thrilled to be included on the ticket. I admire Rihanna as an artist and I know it would've been a killer line up. I'm disappointed that the timing won't work but I hope we'll be able to revisit the opportunity in the future


Moving on from the missed opportunity Nicki speaks on her upcoming album. Scheduled for a fall 2010 release she says she wants to do something different than any other female rapper has done. I don't want to do anything that sounds like what any other female rapper has done. I want to start a new lane that one day 10 years from now, girls will say I'm more of a Nicki Minaj type

Unfortunately for Nicki, not everyone wants girls to follow in her footsteps. Baltimore rapper Keys has unleashed another vicious assault on the Barbie.

Keys previously dissed the Harajuku Barbie in a cover of her single Itty Bitty Piggy and now she's back and responding to a Ustream video where Nicki made a video denouncing her haters.

Keys responded with How dare you sit under a green f&%cking wig and say that Im turning Hip-Hop into some clown s*%&. How dare you b*%$! And say that I'm turning Hip-Hop into some negative s*%&. You're doing nothing positive b%*$ you are not a conscious rapper
