Santa's First Sleigh Ride

This is a clip from my own VHS to DV transfer of Universal's "The Life And Adventures of Santa Claus." It's based on a book by the same title by L. Frank Baum, and the story is connected to the Oz books.

Please note, the song and video are owned by Universal, and is not mine. I hope that this title will soon see a official DVD release.

Claus is voiced by Jim Cummings, who you may recognize as the current voices of Winnie-the-Pooh and Tigger.

In Baum's book "The Road to Oz," the same version of Santa Claus appears, attending Ozma's birthday party. Also, the story features the Forest of Burzee, which features in "Queen Zixi of Ix," whose characters also appear in "The Road to Oz." The Laughing Valley (Santa's home) and the Forest of Burzee are also on Baum's map of Oz and the Surrounding Countries.

@IllusionsUntold you should be happy to know that this was recently released on DVD. i was trying to find this movie for years!!! and as soon as i found the name of it i headed to Amazon and bought me a copy. just arrived today. i might be 24 years old but, I can't wait to watch this movie!!! i thought it was so good when i saw this on Cartoon Network.

Could someone PLEASE upload the full version of this movie? This was one of my favorite specials growing up and it always keeps the image of Santa in my mind

Okay, this year Boomerang did one of the most epic things I can think of in a long time: They aired "The Halloween Tree" TWICE in October.

I hope like all hell that they do the same thing with the animated version of "The Life and Adventures of Santa Claus!!!"
