  • where did you get the meter

  • @microchoc All Electronics Corporation

  • Will you be updating the code for using EthernetClient to Arduino version 1.0?

  • @joemurphyjr I hope to get around to that soon!

  • Very nice! I was expecting to see a customized backplate for the meter, though, labelled "1 message", "2 messages", ... (or maybe on a log scale?)

  • @dancevideo2 I'd love to extend the project so that it has swappable backplates so that you can easily change the different scales you use.

  • i feel so dumb now

  • How did you determine the value of the resistor for the ammeter?

  • @mrichardson23 or remove the backplate and replace it with a lcd-screen that can show different backgrounds :-)

    nice vid!

  • cool

  • @YetAnotherShow

He says 1mA at full scale in the video wich is nothin :)

  • @zunayed001 you can do it even with a potential division law. chose any resistor, connect it to the ammeter, connect voltage and observe. if the voltage on across the resistor is 50% and across ammeter is 50%, they are the same. if not, change ur resistor and try again. of course it could be done by calculating using the voltage division equation..

  • so if we spam ur email account, the meter would always be at full.

    :)

i think i am going to make one for facebook notifications

all i need is an ethernet shield since i already have the rest
