God : the supernatural being that is the perfect and omnipotent omniscient omnibenevolent originator and ruler of the universe : the object of worship in monotheistic religions(Christianity, Judaism and Islam) Omniscience: the quality or state of being omniscient Omniscient : having infinite awareness, understanding, and insight : possessed of universal or complete knowledge Omnipotence: the quality or state of being omnipotent : an agency or force of unlimited power Omnipotent : Almighty : having virtually unlimited authority or influence Omnibenevolent: unlimited or infinite benevolence Benevolence:: disposition to do good : an act of kindness : a generous gift

Premise 1) God must have omniscience to be God.
Premise 2) God must have omnipotentence to be God.
Premise 3) God must have omnibenevolence to be God.
Premise 4) God gives free will to all humans.
Premise 5) Free will is not possible if God knows what we will do before we do it.
Premise 6) God does not have free will if he knows what he will do before he does it.
Premise 7) If God can't do anything other than what he knows he will do in the future, then God is impotent.
Premise 8) If God has the power to do anything other than what he knew he would do, then God is not omniscient.
Premise 9) If God is unable to change his future, then God cannot be omnibenevolent.
Conclusion 1) God cannot be both omniscient and omnipotent. Therefore God does not exist.
Conclusion 2) God cannot be omnibenevolent and omniscient. Therefore God does not exist.
Conclusion 3) Humans having free will is incompatible with the existence of an omniscient God. Therefore God does not exist.

  • lol i wonder at your purpose in doing this..what do you care if people believe in something greater than themselves..all u really do here is what any preacher does..preach your version of the truth..and give your understanding of the scripture. i am willing to bet we as humans dont know the half..anyway thanks for the upload and the thoughts

  • @curiouscrutiny My purpose is it made me feel better because I feel there is a disconnect in the logic of belief in the Abrahamic religions. They are the majority and they dominate my society I live in. There is nothing wrong with wanting ignorant people to be enlightened.

This video did not disprove all gods. Just Yahweh and Allah.

  • If God is said to be all knowing then that is something that cannot be turned off. Either he is or he isn't. Yahweh is.

    Jesus said in Mark 13:32

32 “But about that day or hour no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father.

Which is funny because Jesus should be omniscient.

  • I'm just curious, i havent read the bible because I havent had time to but i am assuming there is a sentence in the bible that says "god is all powerful", but is there a sentence that says god doesnt know what HIS plans are? Im just wondering how to counter an argument if the person says "god gave us free will ,he may be omniscient but he doesn't know what we will do and god can change his plans whenever he wants" or something like that.does it really say in the bible god knows his future?

  • @OCDlosp Revelation 19:6 2 Corinthians 4:4 Luke 4:6 Isaiah 46:10–11 Matthew 19:26 Those are verses for god being omnipotent.

If he is omnipotent, he is omniscient. You can not turn off omniscience. That would be something illogical and most Christians say god can't make a rock so big he can't lift it because it would be a logical contradiction.

  • This video is a perfect example of someone with a logical fallacy. Too bad the poster of this video didn't take any time to learn exactly what that was, otherwise they wouldn't have wasted their time expressing their argument.

  • @OCDlosp not too sure about which passage to use in that argument. one way to go is to point out that most people say their god is omnipotent. having every power (omnipotence) seems like it would include all knowledge. this of course gets you to a point of strain in most christian's brains. i may agree with you in a certain case that you beat the god of the bible but they will always play the translation card. take it on a case by case basis and like a doctor challenge them to get better.

  • @mageslime This is about the Christian God but also the same arguments could be used for any of the Abrahamic faiths. I really tried hard to keep this short so I limited some of the content. Thanks for commenting :)

  • There are other contradictions involved with "omnipotence" depending on how we define it. The first three premises also needs some justification. If you are talking about the traditional Christian God, your argument is pretty persuasive to me.
