It seems a lot of people, esp. the Democrats, don't quite understand economics regarding the national debt. We CAN theoretically spend an infinite amount of money federally. But of course, debt is never a good thing. All I'm really saying is that to go around making ridiculous disingenuous arguments like "our grandchildren will be paying for the national debt" is just patently absurd. HOW will they paying off the debt? "Higher taxes"? a "weakening" economy?

9/11 Commission recommendations, I mean. Of course, the 9/11 Commission didn't really give us any new substantive info except a more detailed verison of the story. It was a waste of time nad money if you ask me.

I'm sick of hearing Democrats parrot term "the 9/11 recommendations" over and over. Do they really believe that every single one of them, including a 1984 national ID card, will be effective, or are they just using it as a wedge to divide Americans against Bush? I hate Bush, too, but we need to attack him credibly not pretend we believe in certain things he has not yet done just to bolster our argument.
