If you ever see a Sky Wheel, do NOT chicken out riding one! I did for so many years and in 2009, i rode my first ever Sky Wheel. I almost cried tears of joy, i could not believe i was actually on it after so many years of chickening out. I was like, wow, this is So So Cool! It definately will give you a thrill going over the very Top! :) Some of those areas over the top, it'll give you that feeling like it's gonna dump you out. A classic ride, but VERY Thrilling!!

I am scared to death of a SINGLE ferris wheel - I would NEVER ride a double. Scares me just to look at the thing. YIKES!

I NEVER went on this as a kid because nobody else would ride it so I could see if it went upside down or not (yes indeed I thought it could go upside down)

Years ago I went on one. The scariest ride I've ever been on.
Back then you weren't strap in at all. You could go flying out of your seat at any
time. You don't have wings! lol

Gets my stomach just watching it! I've never rode the Sky Wheel before. I haven't seen it for several years, around here.
The Rock O' Plane and Loop O' Plane have even become scarce, too. Remember the Gravitron? They've even phased that out almost.

The traveling midway that came to my town every summer when I was a kid had one of these. The most fun part was when you were right at the top of the wheel and the wheel is at the top of the circle. The combined motion of the wheel traveling down and the car traveling around the wheel made it feel like you were going to crash into the ground. In that way it is very Zipper-like. I haven't seen one anywhere in years, too bad because it was a tame enough thrill ride you could take mom on it.

I really wanted to go on this but we went on a ton of other really scary, fast rides first. So when we got on this as a last thing before we left, I got sick. It was so upsetting.

@Daxnassrac Yeah, this one itself shouldn't have gotten you sick, it is fairly tame. But if you went on a bunch of other fast rides earlier, it could put you "over the edge." Next time ride this one first! :-)
