  • skinny sissy, lool.

And does he really have to mention his mother in all his movies?

Great actor Tony Perkins though. And I LOVE this film.

  • It's a pity this wonderful classic film has never been released on DVD! It should be made available to the public to see and enjoy! Films like this must be restored and treasured!

    favourite films. adored it.

the kiss in the car always

    stops my breath!

a crime it is not available

    on dvd.......!

  • Facel Vega was French, so it is unlikely to be seen in British Racing Green. You could say it was the French Bristol, or Bentley.

  • Thanks for that info. I didn't know what make his car was. Perkins drove a Triumph TR2 - a great little sports car. At the time I only had a bicycle, but I painted TR2 on the mudguard!!!!! I was a 17 year old school girl, film struck, so I think it was understandable. Pity this film wasn't in colour - I thought of that car as being red or could have been British racing green.

  • I agree evialbri! Ingrid Bergman conveyed so many emotions just with her eyes. This is what made her appealing and a great film actress. It was probably why she wasn't so good on the stage, though I saw her on the stage too. In films she was quite simply the greatest EVER!!!

  • Any actor beggining his/her career should study Bergman's acting by using bassicaly her eyes. She is trully amazing at this, and always amazes me by the power she conveys with her so intense, yet subtle, look.

  • Yves Montand drives a Facel Vega. What a fabulous car.

  • I adore this movie.

  • That is so sad. I saw it on TCM but wasn't able to finish it. I'm a bit relieved though, because I thought one of them might die or something. Some people think tragedy makes a much better film.
