Finally I got one of the black p5 Sony Xplod subs. Most of the info is in the video. Subs: Red - XS-L120P5W, black - XS-L124P5B. Amp:XM-1652Z 1000w This is the 2nd part of the video. I know sony isnt the best out there, but I like it and its all i could afford. Any questions just ask...

@tlaroche38 Bad idea bro. I have a sony Explod.....DO NOT GO OVER 350 watts. 400 and your pushing your luck. You will FRY them @ 1,000 watts

Thank you sooooo much for hooking these up CORRECTLY. Everyone runs there mouth about these subs. If you hook them up right they will sound great. Sony recommends a 1 cu. ft. SEALED box, NOT PORTED...but great sound and nice excursion...iWill post a response soon of my sound-system. I have 1 p5 Explod sub

@cskyline22 sony xplod arent the best out there like you said but if you know how to conect them with the right amp and wiring they work perfect i got 2 10"s! and they shake everything

I've got a Sony Xplod as well, hit's real hard-and that's just free airing on it's own on a small micro-HI-FI amp made for 2 4"s. Free airing I can feel the bass punching through me- and i'm not even cranking it! Sony are not bad - there a respectable brand, don't hate Xplods because they were sold in Walmart, my one is insane. Wating for a box and it's partner to turn up, along with a 2000 watt amp (1000 watts each side)

these are actually very decent subs, that is however you treat them right
yea, there cheap, but they can also be good if your not fucking beating them to shit
its nice to listen to some music and actually be able to hear it, thats what these subs, at a decent setting can give you, people who blow them, have their gain on high, and have them at peak, which is bad for any sub
