well at 10 seconds in you see the player rotate his shoulder and the hitter making contact with the other players side shoulder.... there for no hitting from behind
-
@mrTHEFRIDGE are you fucking stoopid??? it was from behind, and he charged him, dumbass learn hockey
-
that was a dirty checkk...little bitch.
-
That's just durty
-
the thing is its a clean hit. i respet the guy for trying to get up, but theres nothing you can call...

@911mapper It s not boarding...yes it is a violent check but the issue w/ calling it boarding is, the fact that they both were racing 2 the puck and he left himself open... And per the NHL Rule Book Rule 41.1 " ...there is also a responsibility on the player with the puck to avoid placing himself in a dangerous and vulnerable position." & as u can clearly see upon playing the puck he opened himself up. Now if he stayed facing the boards then yes boardng shold be called boarding

@blueboy82 It is not charging at all as per the NHL Rule Book "Per the NHL Rule book: "42.1 Charging - A minor or major penalty shall be imposed on a player who skates or jumps into, or charges an opponent in any manner." and as you can clearly see the player in question never leaves his feet and his last stride is before the goal line. There for it is simply a clean, heavy hit.

respect for him trying to get up
-
12 strides

@lapuss14 bull shit
It definitely was charging at least. He intended to hurt him, and he was taking way too much speed even after the moment he had to realize that he won't be able to catch up before his opponent reaches the boards.
