I still have one running in my living room, my 81 year old mother uses it for music and to play scrabble, still very fast and very quiet. It was my introduction to Apple other than the ones used at work.

can it connect to wifi?

@kattan2007 MS Office 2008, iLife '08, and iWork '08 run easily on my imac G4... except for imovie. Had to use iMovie HD 6 for that one. :(
It isn't quite as smooth, but it was a free computer! ^-^

@madisonneze Yes, you can find some with iLife installed on them with iMovie, iPhoto, etc. The only limitations to these older PPC machines is the lack of support for new software. You'll get stuck with old versions of iMovie (i think 08' is the max this thing supports) and OSX 10.5 as the best software that can be installed. Though, with that being said, yes, they're cheap. I picked one up on Craigslist for $200 and this one had iSight as well. It works great with Skype chats and has DSL too.

Yes, you can run Mac OS X 10.6 Snow Leopard on Intel Core 2 Due iMacs.
However, it is recommended that you have 1GB of RAM
MS Office 2008 runs fine on both iMac G5 (PowerPC) and iMac (Intel). Don't use Internet Explorer. Use FireFox
