@GordonFreemanD40 Wikipedia was incorrect actually. There was no information from Bombardier, and there is speculation it uses Mitsubishi. Wikipedia was updated to just say standard AC motors until a source can be verified.

Those platforms are too short!

@VancouversLocalNerd no this thing has the MITRAC. Check on wikipedia

@Nouvellecosse the system's driverless,so there's two huge windows in the front and on the back of each train. If there was no lightning passengers would just find it creepy to ride train through a tunnel that is almost always wet and you cannot see anything further than train's headlights can reach.Everything's for passenger's convenience,it's actually an issue for expo line.Lightning there is dull and the female at night feel scared

Why are the tunnels so well lit? Doesn't it seem like a waste of power to have all those lights on in the tunnels when all there is to see are blank concrete walls?

@GordonFreemanD40 The sound is actually Japanese not European as for Mitracs.

but they sound SO like Bombardier MITRAC
Wow! So frequent: 1-minute train intervals.

@bearchoirfan Possible only with driverless AI controlled trains, some stations on the Expo line run at around 30 second intervals at rush hour.

GordonFreemanD40 1 year ago
@GordonFreemanD40 The Toronto Rockets are Bombardier T35As, these are ROTEM EMUs, MITRAC s unique to Bombardier trains.
