This was a request from one of my Youtube Friends Silverstartrucker.
No fancy shenanigans, just plain playing this time.

The tune is called Petra and was compased by R Redhead.

This was played at my pastor and his wife's funeral in November, and your version brought tears to my eyes. He loved the tune, he used it every chance he got, and specified in his will that this version of Rock of Ages was to be sung. Thank you.

Like this very much, i played it yesterday for a funeral, & it made a complete change to some of the choices i get, you can really let yourself go with the words in this beautiful hymn.

Yes; Some years ago Auntie Thora Hird introduced this on BBC 1's Songs of praise. The Liverpool Cathedral choir sang it, the first verse was sung by the little choir boys, beautiful angelic little faces, and it was a magical moment...
