Hip hop artist and Haitian presidential hopeful Wyclef Jean said on Saturday that if elected, he will work to change Haiti's constitution to allow dual citizenship and give Haitians living abroad the right to vote. (August 14 2010)

You have to realise, that there are many rich countries, which struggle with spread of STD's, as well as pauvrety and teenage pregnancy. Difference, is Haiti is not prepared for any of the above hence the problem being bigger. With little to no education about sexuality, or resources for contraceptives (affordable, that is, making them a viable option for those who need it the most -- the poor), the problem isn't the people. Try looking at those in charge in that very society.
