The Rez band is part of Jesus People USA, and their theology may challenge you, but their music will either impress or depress. To the pure, all is pure. To the impure, nothing is pure enough. That is Scripture!

I found out about this band because of Steve Rowe from Mortification who plays
christian metal which is sometimes even death metal. Rez prevented him from
sliding into black metal because he found out through Rez that christians can make
"hard" music which was and is his preference.
I recommend every christian not to prevent any other christian from making
"heavy" music because it´s a way to reach people that wouldn´t hear the gospel otherwise. The message is nevertheless no matter of taste

they also do a song form their second album which has the riff from AC/DC shot down in flames. Hey it's my favorite ACDC song. I love these guys. they sound great.

Funny story: I had gotten saved and given up everything- drugs, alcohol, etc. (I began listening to REZ alot) And one night I slipped up, and ended up with some old "friends" and we went out partying. I was under deep conviction, and felt horrible... Then, around 3am THIS SONG comes on the radio- mainstream rock radio!! (KSHE95 St.Louis) Unheard of!! Noone plays REZ! "No freakin way!", I said. "What?!", they said. "Nevermind", I replied. haha! :^) That's God for ya. I love Him.
