A brief demo of the sonic capabilities of the Devi Ever Dream Mangler (hypedition). In no way is it a demonstration of my skills (or lack thereof) as a guitar player.

  • What was the amp you used? Plus the Dream Mangler has all the effects I could want.

  • Actually no amp was used here. What you're hearing is the direct out of the pedal into a mackie 1402, with a slight bit of eq. Amps sound even better, but there wasn't an easy way to get a good quailty recording with my amp where it's at.

  • very cool!

    what kind of drum machine

    are you using?

    sounds very nice

  • That's the Elektron MachineDrum. An amazing drum machine!

  • Do they still make this pedal?

  • i like your pedals, but do you make anything that doesnt include fuzz?

it seems like all of the pedals these days with amazing features also like to sound of farts.

  • Hey, I am the drummer for a band called Roswick. Where can I buy this pedal? I want to run drums through it. I really like the hypedition part.

    Thanks so much

    Ryan

  • I love your pedals Devi, only you can make a pedal that make me sound like my guitar was dropped in lair of sick badgers that pissed and puked on it for weeks until a brave Mexican fireman managed to retrieve it but unfortunately he dropped on the highway and it got squashed by a lorry. Or sometimes they make me sound like I got confused and brought a 1992 fax machine to the gig instead of the guitar. I hate conventionality and thats why I use your pedals!

  • I give up. You can't argue with preference.

  • @doctorgone

I'm "in title" to my opinion? Okay, whatever that means.

I own both the WMD and this pedal. The WMD pedal is a gimmick in that there is no other pedal out there like it (spare the Frostwave Sonic Alienator) that converts your signal to digital and overlays a digital wavetable over the top. The Devi Pedal is far superior sonically.

  • You're in title to your opinion...even if it's wrong. The WMD is way more versatile that this pedal. The Dream Mangler does maybe a 10th of what the WMD can do.
