No Overdrives
Yuna Solo

Not that hard at all. Note that unique, "Medical Ring," I had Yuna equip. That's why I needed the 60 Farplane Winds to make. That and 20 Remedies gives you Auto-Med and both augments are a must-have when fighting Lady Yunalesca! I didn't think I would need it to fight Seymour which is why I had Yuna equipped with her, "Soldier's Ring," at the start of the battle.

Its been a good year-and-a-half since I fought Seymour Flux. You guys can tell by the mistakes I made!

Just be sure to use Protect and Regen. I spent 24 minutes total making sure that Yuna had it when she fought Maester Seymour. It just keeps me from wasting turns having to use Curaga on Yuna.

You don't have to use Flare on Seymour every turn. I used Level 3 Black Magic to conserve MP. I don't have to since Yuna has Lancet. Just wanted to show that you can absorb over 500 MP from Seymour at the beginning of the battle. It doesn't work like that EVERY time but he has a lot of Mana to drain. You don't have to go to the trouble of getting Drain and Osmose in this challenge!

Be sure to cast Bio on Seymour as well. It makes the battle much quicker and the chances of overkilling him more likely.

Enjoy, comment, and rate everybody!

Yep! I totally agree! Sometimes, (Well, actually most of the time in these challenges.) fighting bosses requires a lot of luck.

Oh, okay. If you use Grand Summon and then 2 Overdrives with an Aeon, she's easy to fight. That is , if you can use Overdrives in you're challenge.

Btw, Terada's damn Rapid Fire is such a pain. It lowers Lucia's speed so I'm gonna have to have Gale ready to try to help deal with it.

  • @SinfulOcelot

    Kay, I will! :D

  • @EmpressAeris Uhh I meant she's hard as hell lol. I know where to find her :P

  • @EmpressAeris Cool. Don't hesitate to send me vids from ur challenges. I'll be checking them out as soon as i have time.

  • @SinfulOcelot

I'm recording another video from my Lucia Solo challenge. Its getting to be pretty hard. That's why I've been kinda lazy with it. I gotta fight Lt. Col. Terada right now. I'm gonna use less buffs this time. Shield should be enough for me...hopefully....

  • @SinfulOcelot

Oh, you mean Lady Belgamine? You 1st find her on the Mi'hen Highroad. She's close to where you 1st leave Luca.

  • @EmpressAeris My earlier ff9 challenge was too HC for me to enjoy the storyline when every boss was REALLY tough so I started from beginning and allowed cheapest armors in that challenge.

  • @EmpressAeris Haha cool. I remember having to get anti-Confuse for Overdrive Sin but other than that I think I haven't ever modded anything. How the hell do you win the first Aeon challenge against that woman (forgot her name)? U couldn't even have modded ur Aeons before that. Anyway, in my current challenge I can't summon, use Cheer ability, mod/change equipment or do Overdrives. I'm pretty content with it. I think my ff7 & ff9 challenges are good now too. FF8 still needs some work though :P
