The major key ingredients you will need are:

Vitman C
Camu Powder or L ascorbic acid (or both combined)
Distilled Water

Other ingredient are optional & you may adapt to you liking.

I started by using
1/2 t spn L Ascorbic Acid
1/2 t spn distilled water
1/2 t spn glycerin

I have recently changed the formula because I didn't like the feeling of the glycerin on my face.
Now Use:
1/2 t spn camu powder
1/2 t spn distilled water
1/2 t spn evening primrose
2 drops of mandarin essential oil

  • I buy my L-Ascorbic acid on the net at maryclinic. It is in a one pound container and is the consistency of powdered sugar so it dissolves very quickly versus the crystal, granular form which takes a while to dissolve. Hope this helps!

  • @rockinlegs Thanks very much I will keep that in mind. I switched from the L-Ascorbic acid & now use the Camu powder as it's completely all natural & has the highest potency of Vitamin C.

  • @rockinlegs Oh thank you that is very kind I will definitely look into it. Good luck with the Vit C it works wonders for my skin!

  • I really dont live under a rock but vit C was not considered to be effectively absorbed through the skin when I was in school. Yes, that was "old school" many years ago. So what info changed the internal vit C food culture to this topical approach w/enhanced ascorbic acid?

Also, since this concentrate is not stable, isn't it actually more expensive to keep making new product? You are beautiful and your skin looks exquisite even in video. I would love 2hear yr thoughts@choklatstar

  • @choklatst Hi there, I do understand your concerns. As I mentioned this products has to be made fresh weekly in order for it to be effective (only make a small amount). Vit C absorption into the skin greatly depends on pH. Preparations with a pH below 4.0 aid in transport by promoting the uncharged form of vitamin C, ascorbic acid. Also this product is very inexpensive. I have definitely seen a difference in my skin from using this formula. Thanks for you comment hope this is helpful.

  • Very informative. Thanks
