  • (after reading the films in 2012 list) I felt the need to write this. Like Crazy is intense. You will feel what the characters are feeling in every scene, the director made sure of that, however, the ending leaves the audience slightly uncomfortable, perhaps even confused--I'd say more but I don't wanna give too much away. You either like it or don't like it. The acting was brilliant of course. I know it's my word against someone else's so you're just gonna have to see for yourself I guess.

  • @The6minuteshow Haha I've already seen it. Saw it an advance screening a few months back. Thanks, though!

  • @scribble030 I've been friends with John for years; it's a joke :P

  • I've almost finished Jane Eyre by Charlotte Brontë now, and it is just so unbelievably good. The Brontës have a way of saying a lot with very little means, which is a quality I admire immensely in writers. Plus Jane as a character is just brilliantly portrayed (as are all the others, especially Mr Rochester and St John Rivers, but I just really recognize myself in Jane. She's awesome).

  • Have you read Hugo?

Also Next time you do one of these videos could you write the books down in the dooblydoo?

  • Love this. Reading a whole bunch of Canadian novels for my canlit class, Tigana - a fantasy novel, and the song of ice and fire series. I started watching Black Mirror but got caught up with a film (forget the name) of authors etc etc. Have to read the John Green book still! Darn! - Chichi

  • I'm trying to finish all the The Song of Ice and Fire books before the new Game of Thrones series comes out April 1st. I would happily read them all day and not ever do any of my degree if I could, they're very addictive.

  • I loved this video! Kayley, you are inspiring me so much!! Thank you for sharing these reading and watching recommendations!!! :D

  • @ariseis I totally agree - Jane Eyre is practically my favourite book ever!

  • Tin Tin... was... amazing! I loved it so much!

  • I like you.

  • I saw Like Crazy at the BFI London Film Festival and it was intense. Aw Felicity Jones and Anton Yelchin were great, just really sublime and fitted into the characters. Also,I live in Mile End and I'm really interested in Jack the Ripper so reading all the stuff I do about him (inc. Name of the Star) sometimes makes me nervous, especially when I go to late night lectures in Whitechapel.

  • @ariseis I FREAKING LOVE JANE EYRE. that is all

  • I've done the same thing, I'm listing all the films I will see this year, followed by the director and a rating.. aiming for around 300 films in the year. (:
