@Fretlessjay Not at all. In fact, I thought it was kind of funny. It was a great teaser.

@ejtrademark where you pissed he didnt play cliffs of dover too?
-
i was at this concert and he pissed alot of people off by starting the encore with the cliffs of dover intro but then suddenly went into one of his nwe songs, sooo many pissed drunks.

@seattlejohn01 I used to think that too...but he's not. He would not do well on a jazz standard unless he rehearsed every note first. Making chord changes during soloing is not his forte, but rocking out on pentatonics...yes he is the master.

crazy for listening to the new album!!!!

Your 100% right!! Eric does create his own chords and they are beautiful

Seeing him play Zenland live blew me away!!! I was at a loss for words...awesome!!!
I hope everyone realizes how different EJ is. He's gone way past the last stage of guitar learning (unconscious competence); he's at a stage where he doesn't even have to think about playing; he thinks the notes & they come out through his hands. IMO, he's the best guitarist this country has produced.

His chording is genius. He basically creates his own chords...simply amazing.
