With so much going for it, the tiny little Diamondback DB380 held a lot of attraction for me. It proved to be extraordinarily accurate, easy to carry, amazingly slim, and has good ergonomics. As a backup piece or ultra carry .380 pistol, it looked to be the micro .380 that Glock never seemed to be able to make a a reality. It weighs just 10.4 ounces. But this long term test brought complications that as a reviewer I had to address in time consuming and expensive fashion. In the end, opinions had to change and I have to lay it all out. With Glock looks is it Glock reliable? The video holds all secrets.///////////////Nutnfancy Likability Scale: NOT RECOMMENDED
Great review, and a life saving review to boot. Wont be getting one for sure.

Nutn' you your very concerned with the pin backing out when shooting the DB380.... well you rave on how excellent the Keltec PF9 is but I had firing pens falling out while shooting on two the PF-9s... the Keltec is not a gun I trust at all. When I called the factory for warranty service Kel-Tec said "yeah it happens send it in".... not confidence building. Thanks for this review. I was interested in this ever since seeing one at a Gun Show but the negatives you mention make this a deal breaker.

saw your vid on the sig p238 was before this video, yet you still say the db380 is one if not the most accurate 380 pocket gun... is it a better shooter for you than the p238?

What's up Nutnfancy ? Have you had any trigger time with the DIAMONDBACK DB9 yet ? Any feedback ? And if not, do you think we might see you review a DB9 in the near future here in TNP ???

I really wanted the DB380 to work out. I bought one for everyday carry because I knew I would keep it on me at all times. I took it out to test and experienced nothing but problems. I sent it back to Diamondback. They did not offer a shipping label. After 3 weeks, I was sent a new one back. Took it out. I put 200 rounds through it and had only 2 mags that did not have failures to feed. Needless to say I traded it for a Glock 26; probably a better choice anyway for EDC. Keep up the good work!

My Bersa is just as accurate in my hands. I think it's a cheap version of the PPK, but actually better in some ways.
