Now, tell me who wouldn't want a television set of those proportions in real life! It's called the Cool TV (yes, it's really called that, not just my opinion) and you can win it in the semiannual Horse Race festivals when you compete in the Rank A (8-10 hearts) category.

To be perfectly honest, the thing is a little TOO freakishly large in my opinion, and I have no room for it in my main house. I use the moderately-sized Good TV in my actual Level 5 house, and I keep this one in my smaller Level 3 cabin in the mountains (so as you can see, it REALLY fits in with the humble pastoral location... xD). I never go there anyway, so it doesn't really matter. But I had to make that trip a LOT to get ALL OF THE TV SHOWS POSSIBLY POSSIBLE TO BE SHOWN IN THE GAME. O__o A year of being a couch potato actually proved to be a WHOLE lot of work!

There are four channels, each with their own specific types of programming. Shown here is the most entertaining by far: the Variety Channel. There are five possible episodes of each show.

Mondays allow you to join Tai the Blacksmith on some mining adventures, live from Moonlight Cave, in "Discovering Caverns" (or "To the Caves").

Tuesday's show is "Cooking Time" (or "Cooking Today♪"), with the utterly creepy but sometimes amusing Gourmet.

Wednesday - my personal favorite, and I actually DO tune in regularly to "I Love Fishing" - features none other than the excellent fisherman Ray on a quest to catch an elusive King fish in Moondrop River. But, as his hints imply, there is no King in Moondrop River unless you count the Right Boot; the Huchen is only in Sunny Lake... o_O

On Thursdays, Woody from the Workshop expresses the importance of a comfortable home in "Let's Make a House."

Little Tim from the Blacksmith's Forge educates us about his fascinating biological discoveries on "The Wild Nature", with new insightful reports every Friday.

Saturday's "Let's Play" is hosted by the Mayor Theodore, who discusses several of the different minigames that can be unlocked throughout the game and enjoyed by multi-players via the Start screen.

Finally, the diverse "artists" Saibara, Henry, and Basil round off the week with Sunday's "The Beauty of Art," in which they explain the marvelous worlds of pottery, painting, and Mother Nature's natural handiwork and how they lead to self-fulfillment and stuff.

Enjoy!

  • whats at the bottom of Moonlight cave?

  • A cutscene with Tim (only if he's in town) that ends with getting a Power Berry. Also, if you bring your Hoe, there's a lot of hidden money in the ground on Floor 100, which is good for getting the Lucky Note.

    Suggested videos:

"Harvest Moon: Magical Melody - Descent of Moonlight Cave" (Power Berry)

"Harvest Moon: Magical Melody - Winnie's Non-Losery Moneygrabbin' Skillz" (money)

    Not-really-suggested video:

"Harvest Moon: Magical Melody - Robyn is a Losery Loser @ Moonlight Cave" (...xD;)

  • Does that Saibara guy really make stuff like clay pots and pottery and all that stuff? cuz if he can i wanna know how plz!!!

  • @tscorzo

Saibara never actually sells any items at his atelier. However, if you befriend him to 2 hearts and 5 hearts, respectively, you can trigger two different scenes in which he gives you the Aging Pot and the Mixing Pot, which can be used for recipes.

Also, Lyla sells vases and stuff at her "Hearty<3Lyla" shop. I don't know whether it's supposed to be implied or not that Saibara is the one who made them. But in any case, you can buy them and put them around your house for decoration.

  • @RayofHope3579 really cuz i have 6 hearts with siabara and he hasnt givin me either one, WHATTODO I REALLY DONT WANT TO START OVER!!!

  • @GhostWithBlueEyes

You also need to have shipped 10 Good Clay (or was it 9...) in order to trigger the scenes. Have you done that? You can find Good Clay by using your Hoe in the mines, although I assume you already knew that, as it's probably what you gave Saibara to raise his hearts so high. xP
