@ShaneMSnyder youre absolutely right. people dont understand there is a difference in holding stock and having a contract to outsource your heavy duty engine line up from cummins.

@ZE2Chevypickupman: simple the 6.7's platform was designed to be reliable in excess of 1000 lbft with emissions equipment. Sure a duramax can make those numbers but not w/o voiding warranties. In other words GM may have an issue making that reliably.

@greendayrules11 i dont believe outside sources until the main source confirms it. but that would be good for ford if they did, but who knows if they do that whos to stop chevy from doing the same thing?

@greendayrules11 no they didnt. check your sources before you make false claims like that. they have not changed anything and they wont till late 2011 or 2012 or till they decide to redesign their motor. check fords website

@zr2chevypickupman Not anymore, Ford reprogrammed there computer with the 2011 6.7L and its now making 400HP and 800lbs of Torque.

Man you're extremely misinformed. IH/Navistar makes the Powerstroke line. Ford's making their own diesel so they don't have to deal with contracts with IH/Navistar and GM sold their shares of Cummins years ago just like Ford did. Only reason GM and Ford had Cummins stock is make a profit off shares alone. God this is getting old.
