mharbaugh, this is wonderful. I appreciate all the Freshmen clips you have put up here. A great example of how culture is ofetn more appreciated in a foreign land than in it's home culture. Not that the FF were not appreciated in the US, but i don't think they ever had this type of production value and respect. More, please!

Thanks for the comment, and I'm glad you enjoyed the videos. There have been many American jazz musicians who have either lived in Europe, or spent a lot of time there because as they were losing audiences here in the USA, they were becoming more popular overseas. I think to this day, places like Holland and Japan are regions that are full of Freshmen fans. Even Bill Evans said he was honored by how well he was treated in Japan.
