I'd be inclined to agree with you if you were talking about 1 but the basic flow of this game, the control style, items etc. ARE NOT THE SAME.

I like Zelda like games and it has been a long time since any of the actual Zelda games gave me the sensation the 1st one did and Neutopia is actually a lot closer to the experience. Games like Neutopia won't in any way detract from the zelda series, but does give fans of the genre like me something else to play. So shush. I for one am glad they "plagiarized" this game. Great memories, thanks for posting ! I only had PC-E, yrs later when I played Zelda then realized their similarities. Won't get into the same arguement, just some games within 20mins I know it is a direct rip off and put down the controller; some "similar" ones that CAN keep me going till the final boss, then it is good enough to me, and Neutopia2 was worth my $. The only thing that matters is to buy legal copies. My DUO still works, wonder if I still have this game.

This is easily one of the best Turbo Grafx games ever made. Instead of measuring it against Zelda why don't people just look at it as a stand alone game and appreciate the fun you can have with it?
